Maia is being retained by the stud for breeding purposes. She proved to be straight forward to start under saddle with good natural balance.
In 2013, Maia was leased to Kelsey Stevenson at Mt Sanford Station, Northern Territory. Maia is being used for mustering cattle and Kelsey says she is lovely and sensible to ride. She is also ridden by her husband Brent Stevenson. Maia has been lightly shown in the NT, for Champion Led on each occasion. Maia made the Ladies Final at her first campdraft in the NT. She foaled a palomino colt named Tarrawonga Solstice, by Chalani Sunstream, in 2016 for Kelsey Stevenson.
