‘Kitty’ was the second filly bred by Chalani and in all she produced 16 foals, eleven of which were fillies. They include Chalani Catlow - Champion Working Stock Horse Melbourne Royal 1988. Our son Graham learnt to ride on her.
The number of quality foals she has produced and their performance in top level competition in all areas of Australia is a record for an SA Stock Horse broodmare. She has received an A.S.H Society Broodmare Award of Merit for her achievements.
We know of more than 80 of her descendants to date.
Three daughters were retained in the stud with outstanding records of their own -Chalani Paper Tiger Chalani Aspen Chalani Giselle.
Kitty is honoured with selection to the ASH Society's ‘Wall of Renown’ exhibition for her contribution to the Australian Stock Horse Breed.
