Silverthorn Cover Shot was purchased from Silverthorn Australian Stock Horses in November 2015, a few days old, along with her dam Barsham Sunaround. Cover Shot combines many polo pony bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree.

Her sire has been very successfully shown in ASH competitions, including winning at Royal and National level and is also the sire of many champions at Royal and National level in ASH classes
