Nova is a look-a-like to her grandam Chalani Aurora, with a beautiful pretty head and plenty of try under saddle. It was clear from a young age that she would make a lovely Junior rider mount, as she was unflappable to stockwhip training and handled the Adelaide Royal Show easily, it being her 2nd ever show.
Nova was winner of the 2yo SA State ASH Futurity. As a 3yo in 2022 she was the Royal Adelaide Show Champion Ridden ASH and Reserve Champion Led ASH Mare. As a 4yo in 2024 she won and placed in Junior drafts with 10yo Xander Ide at Wannon River Campdraft. She placed 2nd at ASH Nationals 2024 in Led 4yo Filly and 3rd in the Junior Station Horse.
Nova won the November 2025 AKAS Stockman's Challenge Intermediate Division. She followed this up with a 1st in the AKAS February Challenge and was the Overall Tri-Series Intermediate Stockman's Challenge winner (dry/wet work). November 2025 Nova placed 2nd Overall in the ASH SE of SA Branch State Show Pentathlon, from a large field of horses. She also won the Working ASH Mare and Novice Station Horse at this show. In Autumn of 2026 she was winner of 2 Working Equitation competitions (Level 3).
Nova is a very quiet mare with a natural want to work a cow. I'm sure she'd excel at polocrosse if given the opportunity. Her sire Gamberlee Jaguar has produced many successful polocrosse progeny. Jaguar himself is a Novice Campdrafter by Dogwood Comet, with a strong polocrosse damline and has produced successful polocrosse ponies.
