Jive has a very friendly and easy going temperament. She is also registered Paint Horse.
She was the winner of the High Point Yearling Versatility Award at the SA State Paint Horse Show 2008, winning the Yearling lungeline Futurity and Yearling Trail classes.
As a 2yo Jive was second in the ASH 2yo Filly Futurity and Supreme Led Pinto at the two pinto shows she contended (APSB Youngstock Show and Strathalbyn Hunt Club show). She was also Champion Led ANSA (all ages) at the Strathalbyn Hunt Club Show.
Jive started the 2009 show season with great success, being Supreme Led Pinto at Gawler Ag Show. She was then Supreme Champion Led Pinto, Supreme Champion Led ASH, Supreme Paint and Reserve Champion ANSA at the Southern Equestrian Show (Strathalbyn 4/10/09). She took out many further Supreme Led Pinto awards as well as ASH led Champions that season. The 2009/2010 season culminated in Jive winning the High Point Versatile pinto, High Point Pinto mare and Overall Led High Point Pinto as well as High Point Junior Led ASH. She earned a name inscribed rug, saddlecloth, halter and trophies for her efforts.
After a hoof injury in Aug 2010, Jive started showing under saddle in the Open Hack ring in Hack and Show Hunter classes. She qualified for Adelaide Royal Show in Show Hunter classes, having won and placed in Hack and Show Hunter events at Agricultural shows in 2011. She turned many heads and received many favourable comments from Hack competitors and Judges.
Jive is sired by the very successful Vancouver Park Watch My Duco (ASH, Paint and Pinto registered) who was Champion ASH Hack at the National ASH Championships Albury 2002. See the Vancouver Park website for further details on her sire.
